About BlockchainPayments.ca
An independent Canadian portal where businesses and individuals can test blockchain and stablecoin payments with their own numbers before talking to anyone selling them.

What we are
BlockchainPayments.ca is an educational site in the MITEY network of Canadian finance resources. It offers free calculators and scenario models, a simulation-only developer sandbox, and plain-language guides to the Canadian rules that apply when payments move on blockchain rails.
What we are not
- We do not process payments, hold or transmit funds, exchange currencies, provide wallets or custody, or issue any token.
- We have no partnerships with payment providers, exchanges or stablecoin issuers, and we do not earn referral fees from them.
- We hold no licences or regulatory registrations, and nothing here is financial, legal, tax or investment advice.
How we work
Every tool runs in your browser on a shared calculation engine that we test automatically. Default assumptions are illustrative and labelled with their review date; we expect you to replace them with your own statements. Regulatory pages cite primary sources (FINTRAC, the CRA, the Bank of Canada, Finance Canada, provincial securities regulators and standards bodies) and carry the date we last checked them. See the methodology and sources.
Mitey
Mitey is the MITEY network’s yeti: a calm, curious guide who prefers checking the numbers to chasing hype. On this site he carries a few payment props (a token, a chain of ledger blocks, a testnet flag) and the occasional practical tip.
